This is a 1937 custom Dodge pickup, shot for the cover of Rod & Kulture Illustrated in the Summer of 2013. This is an amazing vehicle, said to be worth $350,000. Its literally a “funny car”. It’s so bad ass. You need earplugs when they fire the thing up. This is the type of work I enjoy shooting the most. Usually I wouldn’t shoot the car in broad daylight, but I haven’t done that in awhile and found a nice warehouse as a background that was just around the block from where the car was being worked on. I think it is important to make the shoot convenient for everyone and this time we didn’t need to trailer the car anywhere. The shoot went really well and the cover of the magazine looks beautiful.
