This time of year bees are all over the place building new hives for winter. Avoid the sting by remaining calm and leaving them alone. Do not swat at them. They emit a chemical to warn other bees of danger. If you bother them, you will find yourself amidst the swarm very quickly.

Every May i photograph a dance academy in Brighton, Michigan, Michelles Academy of Dance & Performing arts center. I try to make the photos more appealing than those old posed shots… man, I can’t stand those. I work hard with every student to make sure they get a great photograph for the year.
